Engaged by Venues NSW, the project involved the refurbishment of 2,500m2 of refurbished space covering existing player change rooms, new change rooms, new gender-neutral bathrooms, and four new hot and cold-water recovery pools, officials rooms, medical, media and press conference rooms.

Works included the demolition of existing services, supply and installation of new services, new FFE, and removal of two existing in-ground fibre glass pools and installation of eight new concrete in-ground pools. The team restaged and redesigned the in-ground pools from traditional FRP to Shotcrete which saved over six weeks of construction activities and allowed adequate curing time for the pools to be finished and commissioned.

All works had to be completed in a complex live environment, with the team navigating the added site constraints of Accor Stadium’s Summer of Concerts series, covering eight concerts, 20 artists and their crews and nearly half a million concertgoers during the delivery of the project.
