As one of Australia’s most successful tech companies, Atlassian is naturally forward-thinking. So it’s not surprising their new Australian headquarters, being developed by Dexus, will be an office tower the likes of which we’ve never seen before.

Anchoring the new Tech Central precinct as Australia’s answer to Silicon Valley, Atlassian Central will be the world’s tallest hybrid timber commercial building and deliver a new benchmark for sustainability, tech and design that will revolutionise commercial property in Australia and around the world.

The tower aims to achieve a 50% reduction in embodied carbon in construction compared to a conventionally constructed tower, has a 5.5 star NABERS Energy Commitment and will be powered by 100% renewable energy from day one of operation.

Over the last three years Built with joint venture partner, Obayashi, have worked alongside Atlassian and later the project’s developer, Dexus, with an international project team, comprising over 17 companies providing their expertise from three different continents, to bring Atlassian’s vision and sustainability goals to life.
