The $619.5m QEII Hospital Expansion will increase hospital capacity through an additional 112 beds and expansions to the outpatient services, medical imaging, medical records, and maintenance areas, and the new multi-storey carpark will deliver an additional 1379 parking spaces over eight levels.
The local community will reap the benefits of having greater access to the hospital’s new world class facilities closer to home, helping meet the growing demand for health services on Brisbane’s southside.
The QEII Jubilee Hospital project forms part of the Queensland Government’s Capacity Expansion Project (CEP), the largest ever investment in Queensland Health history with a $9.8bn budget forecast across 15 hospitals.
Expanding on our national healthcare capabilities and leveraging our digital-first approach in partnership with Queensland Health and Metro South Health, Built will deliver vital modern hospital facilities including new theatres, beds, and multiple specialist clinical facilities.
“As an Australian-owned contractor operating in Queensland for more than 20 years, Built is proud to be part of this large-scale health project that will benefit Brisbane’s southside community for many years to come.”
