Works were undertaken within the brown field site whilst maintaining the ongoing operation and business continuity of the existing facility.

The project scope included the construction of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within existing building envelope and structure of Level 1, extension of Level 1 for plantroom, storage/office spaces and connection into existing link, and a concrete roof over part of extension to be future-proofed for extension.

Works were also undertaken in the loading dock and back of house, which saw the construction of below-grade loading dock, canopy and access driveway, and construction of Stores and Mortuary as new build below existing building.
