Rob Stanton appointed Head of Built Capital

Australian-owned digital-first contractor and property developer, Built, has announced that Rob Stanton will be appointed to the newly created role of Head of Built Capital.

Rob has over 30 years of experience in Australian real estate. Most recently he was a founding partner and Head of Real Estate at Barrenjoey. Prior to that he had 14 years at J.P. Morgan as a Managing Director in roles that included Head of Real Estate Investment Banking and Head of Australian and New Zealand Equity Research. Rob also worked at Macquarie Bank and began his career at Lendlease.

Rob has advised major Australian real estate groups for many years having led large scale M&A transactions for Charter Hall, Blackstone, Scentre, Dexus, Mirvac, GPT, and others. He has led capital raisings of over $7bn of equity for multiple REITs including the IPO of such groups as HMC Capital, Charter Hall Long WALE REIT, Irongate, Abacus Storage King, and Propertylink.

Rob’s broad network across real estate capital providers will support Built’s evolution and growth which is being led by its market leading approach as a digital-first contractor and property developer.
